Sessions and fees
I am helping my clients through face to face and online sessions via Zoom, which is proving to be just as effective as in-person sessions and very convenient. Appointments can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home anywhere in the Country and without the travel involved. Sessions can be enjoyed abroad too!
Please note, success is not guaranteed. Full client participation is essential in order to achieve long term success.

Online appointments
Upon booking your Initial Consultation, I will email you my Terms and Conditions, GDPR and Online Working Forms which you will need to complete and return to me prior to the session taking place. To secure your appointments, I will ask you to make your payments before your session via Bank Transfer using the details I will provide you with. You will need to have a good internet connection and you may find it useful to ensure you cannot be disturbed by visitors, pets, mobile phones, etc. You may also want to have a comfortable place to lay down with a warm blanket or to sit in a comfortable chair for the trance part of the session as this will help to enhance your experience.
Initial consultation
I offer an initial consultation lasting up to an hour and a half which serves a number of purposes: it gives you the opportunity to explain why you are seeking help, and enables me to assess whether hypnotherapy can help. It allows us to build rapport and to decide whether we would like to work together.
After taking some basic details and asking about your issue, I explain the workings of the brain with regards to your particular situation and how, if our subconscious mind perceives a threat to our wellbeing, it can have an unhelpful effect on our thoughts and behaviours; most people find this explanation enlightening.
I explain the process of hypnosis, which is a much more ordinary experience than many people believe. We will agree an approximate number of sessions, but to give you some idea of what's involved, I typically see clients on average for between 9 to 12 sessions on a weekly basis to begin with, although this is reduced as you maintain your progress through the sessions.
I will give you a complementary Relaxation MP3 (my own) to listen to between the sessions which will continue to support the work we do together. Please note hypnosis is not offered as part of this initial consultation.
Subsequent sessions
Subsequent sessions last for 50-60 minutes and are completely tailored to you. We begin by reviewing how things have been since our last session, with particular emphasis on things that have gone well. We review how the mind works as a prelude to Solution Focused questions designed to elicit positive responses. This is a pivotal part of the therapy and is also the part where the client has to work the hardest! This is followed by hypnosis, which most people find very relaxing, and is designed to consolidate the therapeutic work.
General relaxation
We all need time to relax so why not treat yourself, or someone else for that matter, to a mental pamper? You'll leave this session feeling nicely relaxed, as if your brain has had a good massage! No full initial consultation is needed for this session, just some basic questions followed by some good much needed downtime.
Fees
The fee for an Initial Consultation and a standard session is £60.
The fee for a 30 minute general relaxation session is £25 or £35 for 45 minutes.
All fees are to be received via bank transfer prior to the agreed appointment using the details provided by me.
NB: Please note I require 48 hours notice for cancelled or rearranged appointments. I reserve the right to charge the full session fee outside of this notice period and for missed appointments, unless this is as a result of illness.
Please do contact me to make an appointment as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as I run a busy practice and my sessions are booked up very quickly!
