Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist
Clinical Hypnotherapy Supervisor
Former Senior Lecturer CPHT Bournemouth
I am a Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist and Clinical Hypnotherapy Supervisor with a private practice in my home in Trowbridge, working with clients either face to face or online via Zoom.
Having trained for two years, gaining Diplomas in hypnotherapy, counselling and psychotherapy, I became increasingly interested in the workings of the mind and in particular how depression and anxiety states develop.
It was through my continued professional development with The Clifton Practice in Bristol, one of the most prestigious training schools in the Country, that I gained further Diplomas in Solution Focused Brief Therapy Skills, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy skills and the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD), considered to be the Gold Standard in Hypnotherapy qualifications. Through further training, I discovered how Solution Focused Hypnotherapy was able to help people to make the changes they wanted in their lives, both quickly and effectively, drawing on research within neuroscience and the way the brain works.
I went on to gain the Accredited Hypnotherapy Supervisor Qualification and I am able to offer help and support to other hypnotherapists in private practice through my knowledge and increasing experience.
I qualified in 2008 and specialise in anxiety and its associated symptoms. I use Solution Focused Hypnotherapy to help my clients overcome a range of issues. I am approachable, professional and caring and I attend frequent peer supervision sessions, courses and workshops to keep me up to date with the latest research and increase my knowledge base. This enables me to offer my clients the most up to date therapy.
I am a member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapists (AfSFH). National Hypnotherapy Society, the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), and abide by their strict code of standards and ethics.
